I am currently at the Philadelphia Airport and luckily they have free wi-fi and I have a 4 hour layover. My flight from Minneapolis wasn't too bad except for the fact that the air conditioning wasn't working in the back of the plane, but I was closer to the front so it wasn't a problem. I still am feeling like I'm in a dream state and that I'm just waiting to be woken up. I'm not exactly sure when reality will set in, but I know that it will hit me like a ton of bricks. My plane to Oslo will take off in another couple of hours and I finally found an outlet to plug in my MacBook. I am so excited to meet my host family. On Monday we will go off on the boat for a week on the lake by their house. I haven't spoke Swedish in a couple months, but though the excitement of everything I'm thinking in Swedish and catch myself already forgetting English words.
4 Days before I left I had a goodbye party at Dan's house. So many people came to wish me goodbye and give me hugs and kisses. I did a head count and over 50 people came to wish me goodbye. I am going to miss my friends and family terribly, but right now I'm just too excited to be sad.
I don't know if I mentioned this in my blog already, but I really hope to be able to babysit while I'm in Sweden or at least volunteer at a daycare. I miss working with kids already and it's been a week and a half since my last day at St. Andrew. However, I already know of one little girl that I can babysit!
Well next time you hear from me I will be in Sweden!
Puss och Kram (hugs and kisses)

Jack Johnson Concert
We went to see Jack Johnson in concert in Somerset, WI yesterday, it was an amazing experience and I'm so glad that I got to see him live before I leave for Sweden.
Dan and I are back in the cities now, and I have really buckled down and started packing. The chore is extremely daunting. It's so hard to know what I will really need and what I just want to bring. It's crazing thinking that on Sunday I will be in Sweden in my new home and my new family. I am going to miss everyone here so much, but I can't wait for my new adventures to begin. I'm also trying to set up the blog so that I can have a picture album on here, otherwise I will make a Picasa account as well as everything that will be on facebook.
There is just so much to do in the next 5 days it's overwhelming!

11 days until take off
There is only 11 days until I leave and I wanted to try to get in the hang of blogging. Hopefully I will keep everyone fairly updated and post an update at least once a week. However, as a child I was never a good diary keeper. I would buy a new diary or journal write one or two entries and then loose the diary or loose interest in writing in it regularly. If I start to do that with this blogging thing let me know so that I can try to keep all of you living vicariously through me. I understand that I should have amazing grammar because A) My mom is an English teacher and B) I have graduated high school but just in case there are any spelling mistakes ignore them :)
In preparation for leaving as I said in 11 days I am spending a week in Chicago with Dan, my boyfriend and when I get back will continue my packing. I am leaving for Sweden on the 31st of July. I will be living in Arvika, Sweden with the my Swedish host family. I am so excited to be staying with them. From e-mailing them they seem awesome and I can't wait to actually meet them!
I can't think of anything else to report so far but if you have any questions about where I will be and what I will do feel free to ask and I will e-mail you back!
